It has come to our attention that there are "bogus traders" on the show circuits claiming to be part of our business one of which is calling itself "B. P Models" and have been attending various shows around the country claiming to be part of our business and obtaining stock from us.

We wish to make it quite clear that it was Angela & Paul who set up this establishment hense the name (A. P Models) back in 2003 and we have never supplied anyone including family or sub-sell to anyone else. We also do not have or ever had at any point anyone working including family or being agents on our behalf.

We have felt it necessary and our duty to make this announcement to protect the public as any new products purchased from these individuals would not be covered by the manufactories warranty and also to protect our own valuable reputation for customer care.

We wish to make it quite clear that the vast majority of traders that attend the various shows around the country are legitimate traders and this is not intended to spoil anyone's enjoyment of such venues but all we ask for your own protection is that you check out they are a legitimate retailer. Remember a legitimate trader will have nothing to hide including landline number & business address and main dealers such as ourselves will be V.A.T registered but we must point out there are individuals that sell new products such as "Bachmann" that do not have retail premises and are not covered by there warranties because they have bought them second hand (sub sold) from another retailer and when you think you could pay anything up to £150 or more for a sound loco you could seriously be out of pocket should it go wrong.
