Your pic of the overall roof looks very atmospheric. What brick paper are you using?

This looks great - I like the idea of a relatively large terminus on a micro layout. I think I saw your post on the overall roof over on the old RMWeb and was impressed then. Seeing it here now with platforms and rails is even better.

Just using the standard red brick paper that you can select when you buy the kit.

I've seen a picture of the N-gauge station building in stone and that looks very nice as well.

Is the traverser only big enough for one coach or am I mis-understanding the first set of photos?

 

Anyway - looks a nice little concept, and well executed so far

I'd suggest perhaps using a lighter sky background behind the station - the sky behind the warehouses (I know are being replaced - although they look great!) is probably more realistic then that behind the station.

 

When will it be set?

Yes the traverser will only hold one coach, a small suburban one at that.

I did it this way to keep within a certain size, it will also make it very challenging to move things about.

The sky has been changed for a lighter one....more by me making a hash on the first atempt.

 

I don't set any of my layouts to era or area, I run what I like the look of, on this though I could use all small steam shunters or take them off and just use diesel ones.

Other than that it will be run anything.

I like the look of this, maybe it will encourage me to get on with mine. I've been experimenting with printing this Scalescenes kit at about 90% of full size so that I can fit it into a boxfile...
