Here we are after a few weeks of not do any models. I have been waiting for parts to turn up from the UK I had expected them to be here by now. Because of the time differance I have not been at home at the right time to make internet phone calls.Tuesday wa carnival here in Brasil so everywhere is closed. This gave me the chance to call my mother etc, and to call the people supplying my bits.

 

Well it seems that the parts for the hall have not been sent but will be coming to me within the next few days, the reason needed to get a few castings done, I am OK with that but why not answer my emails asking if all was OK.

 

Next the nameplates for Watersmeet and the hall. Yes they will be dispatched in February, I was expecting to receive them in February. This means both these items will take a minimum of 28 days to get here in the post. So it will be nearer the end of March before I can finish these locos.

 

I was hoping my daughter would be taking the West Country to the UK for me in the middle of March, to save me £50 odd on postage. I dont think I would feel so bad if I had not orginised these to before Christmas.

 

I know most of the companies are one man bands but does it take that much time to send an email keeping a customer informed.

 

Well thats my moan for the day, good thing is it is nearly time for the new workshops grand opening, Just need something to sit on. I am also being pestered to take all my models there as I have a bench. I did reply asking the question that once SWMBO new dressing table is installed, do we take all her make up and jewellry there. Unfortunatly I cannot write the reply here as it may get censered by Andy. It looks like I will have to take most there, I am trying to keep a few wagon kits here for emergencies against boredom.

Hi Pete. Sorry to hear about your delivery problems. Could you not upload SWMBOs reply on an audio file? :-) Hope you are enjoying the wagon kits at least.

It is just frustrating, the postal deliverys here are very long winded. So I plan a month or two in advance when I can. Just for the parts not to be sent. One line email would be nice just to stop me asking the door man about post everyday.

I would not want the delicate ears of railway modellers to hear such things.
