Slow progress

It has been a bad couple of days model making wise. But progress else where. The start of the problems was yesterday, it was lovely and cool for here, 23C first thing. Unfortunately this normally means rain, and we were not let down. Hopefully my video will upload, I think it is why it gets called the rain forest.

I could not upload the video, I will see about doing it via youtube, that will be another day now. Well that was yesterdays problems rain stopped play.

Today no model making at all as there was a round of meetings about the house. A very early start because lots of offices here are open at 7 AM. So what was the outcome? Well, another delay on the completion of the house. This is quite common here, things seem to take an eternal age to do. Not all bad news though, it does mean that we might be able to do some alterations to the design. So now I have to redraw the whole thing with alterations included. I am hoping this will not interfere with the models too much.

The most depressing part of it all is that as I was in the building game I know how long these things take to do. Hopefully with what is going on I will be able to take a bigger roll in the house and get things moving properly. These builders and contractors would struggle to keep up the standard in Europe.

That was that, just had a lovely lunch and now relaxing with my wife, what is there to worry about!!!!!

Hi Peter,

I see you've discovered that you can move blocks to the left hand side of the screen and create a three-column layout. Could I advise against this, please? Whilst it looks fine on medium to high resolution screens if you enlarge or maximise the browser window, it is a real mess on smaller screens. To see this, try reducing the width of your browser and you'll find that the most important central column is the one that gets reduced. Worse still, images stay the same size and start disappearing under the right hand column.

Hi Nick

I have just been messing this afternoon but if it interfers with the viewing I will change it.
