Cheddar - The first point

I'm presently trying to remember how to make track. It's coming back to me slowly.

Ply sleepers stained with Indian ink and C&L chairs. All works so far.

 

Layout is also coming on. Boards 1 & 2 now have topography.

B8 believe it or not! Not a C switch to be seen anywhere. There are a couple of B9s and B7s, as well as the loose heeled switches on the single slip but most are B8's.

I was advised to avoid C switches by some bloke modelling the North Somerset line... Can't remember his name!
