Well as I sit back enjoying a nice cuppa, I just thought I would review the activity of the weekend.

Foster Street is now safely back in the spare room, after getting home from its last exhibition of 2017, which was held by the Pendle Forrest Club.

I have to say the chaps at the Pendle Forrest club made us feel very welcome, and we had a great time operating the layout and talking to the visitors at the exhibition, we even had a few guest operators today, that certainly showed us how the layout should be run. Hopefully we did not disappoint the viewers of Foster Street , and hope we contributed to a successful show for the Pendle Forrest club (even with Phil's Elephant jokes).

Anyway, now we don't have any more commitments to show Foster Street for this year, it means I can concentrate on the many outstanding jobs on the layout and with its stock (we had a dramatic jubilee failure today) However there is one really important job that needs doing urgently and that it to thank the exhibition team.

So to Stuart and Phil, thanks chaps, it cant have been easy at times keeping the public entertained, as well as keeping this big kid out of trouble, but Foster Street would not have been so popular without you, and god knows what trouble we will get up to with the dates for 2017 and beyond.
