Forgive me for my ignorance as a fairly recent member of the RMWeb. I want to add '67B' to 'Jock' on my blogs and responses and hope that one of the more experienced can advise me, or at least point me to the correct area of the site to ask such a question? Did my engineering degree with a slide rule as is probably becoming obvious! Another point is that I don't know how posts are selected to show on the portal front page. Excuse the ignorance - I will persevere.

Wanted to say to a wider group than before how tremendously supportive I have found the RMweb community. Tucked away in the 'Railways of Scotland' section of the Forum you will find my first entry where I asked for information about Hurlford MPD and access to Barleith station; I mentioned my terminal illness and need to work to a short time scale. I was amazed at the response which genuinely made me feel part of a larger family! I simply wanted to publicly thank all concerned with this facility

As a returning modeller at the planning stage, can I ask Phil to excuse my ignorance when I enquire why he did'nt feel it necessary to use an accessory switch for polarity changing, and modify the electro frog wiring as in the Peco advice leaflet -is this not absolutely necessary?
