Once again , pictures not as good quality as previous blog entries, due to poor quality camera.
Please feel free to make any comments, good or bad.

Hi, nothing at all to do with the model but the name.

Just wondered where you got the idea of using Sproston as a name? The only one I know of is in Mid-Cheshire near the infamous Junction 18 on the M6. No railway connection.

Hi Stephen, the layout is named in the memory of a work collegue who was based at March S&T, His name was Terry Sproston and he was always saying that when he retired he was finally going to build the model railway layout he always wanted but never had time for. He retired and six months later he was diagnosed with Cancer, six months after that he was gone...I decided then that I would name the layout in his memory...

I did know that there is a "Sproston Green" near Holme Chapel in Cheshire, so maybe that fits in quite well, as the layout is joint WR/LMR.
