Sproston - more road traffic

Yet another update, this one being more concerned with road than rail, and due to the arrival at last of a "proper" bus for the long suffering inhabitants of Sproston, namely a 'Crossville' Bristol mw single decker from Base Toys, accompanied by an ERF lorry made by EFE....featuring the 1950's "Sabrina" style of cabfront ( if you don't understand that - then just Google "1950's Sabrina", and all will become clear)!!

These items have been chosen to more accurately reflect the supposed geographical location of the town: i.e. Cheshire, with the bus being on a service route to Nantwich, and the lorry belonging to a local pottery firm based in Middlewich, just a stone's throw away from Sproston.

The bus has had a dozen passengers and a driver added (my usual ho scale 'suspects' obtained via Ebay from China), whilst the lorry has gained a driver and a mate, who had to be inserted by removing the windscreen, - they certainly don't make it easy to fit people into these vehicles!!

I will let the pictures explain, it's all very straightforward once you summon up the courage to attack the model...

These latest acquisitions have required a rearrangement of road vehicles, leading to a railway cameo cliché...
Not quite a "bus on a bridge" - but here, we have a "coach ontop of a tunnel"..

On the 'to do' list are installing two replacement motorised signals for the platform starters - Dapol's new round post LQ GWR models, and also trying out the use of a couple of mini cameras linked to a small monitor, all running on 12v dc for fiddle - yard surveillance.
Comments good or bad are always welcome,
