Legge Lane gets lit up!

I have spent parts of the past three days installing a lighting system above Legge Lane. Here are two photos showing the progress so far:

The long stretch over Legge Lane to the opposite wall needs an extra ceiling support, so that will be done once I buy the parts. With a full 24 watts of LED lights I can see what I am doing without breaking the bank. Win win!

That looks good, and you get the framed pictures lighted too.

 

I see there's also a phone, is that for the signalman or when you need to order in food? :-)

Hi Mikkel!  The phone is a video phone to answer the apartment block door.  Mainly used by La Poste when they deliver much needed kits and parts from England!

The intermediate supports have been added and the sag is much less obvious.  It is a delight to switch on the lights at any time and enjoy Legge Lane.  Quelle Difference!
