Ballasting in progress. I have decided to create a bank at the back of the layout to flow into the backscene, however, I'm still thinking about what to include to the left of the sidings, possibly a cameo scene. Any ideas?
Attached a track plan I've quickly drawn up. With the space available, there was not much else I could do. I considered a 3-way point for added interest, however this would've made the existing sidings too small. Baseboard construction done.
Hello, this is my new micro layout. I have built a couple of small/micro layouts in the past, yet this is the first one I have put on RMweb. It is a colliery scene, circa 1950s. I am considering basing it on the Wemyss private railway, due to already owning a Hornby Austerity in WPR livery, but also because of the lack of many layouts based on this subject choice.
