my great grandfarther was 19 when he joined the 1st battalion black watch 1916 he served at ypers hindenburg line and at the somme gased once survived it but to learn 4 days later the regiment sent over the top fixed bayonets half was decimated in 3 minutes by jerry machine gun dugouts my grandfarther died when i was 5 years old but im so proud of what he did his freinds the regiment and all allied forces first and second world war and now my son serves in 1st mercian armoured divison im so pro

just watched last epsiode tonight what a farce some very sublime model railway clubs representing england ahd north of the border and blow me scotland wins with a layout bathed in cotton wool and sci fi i thought the fawley fliers layout was fantastic and the lads who built the first WW1 was the same but i find this program demeans the hobby thats my take on it............
well as somebody quoted i have a cunning plan from 10am till 3pm had 30 adults through and 3 children church got some cash a big thank you to the traders who came 1 guy from nottingham thank you again thanks to members who set up fri night and takeing down sat afternoon also to the helpers from church who served in the kitchen and to the vicar who brought his family a big thank you to all of you to the members of the club to show work in progress so thank u malcom j murray john dave mike bill
