'Delph Goods shed' in search produced no results. Niether could I find in in scratchbuilding (I didn't try too hard earlier today........in a hurry). Please can you provide a clue (link) as searching out Blogs is becoming a big problem now that RMweb is so big.

Cheers,

Larry

Tried it but all the information blocks are off-screen on my PC. Never mind, maybe something will be sorted one day to make access to the varous and very numerous Blogs and workbenches. It has all got very 'bitty' and we are only 4 months into RMweb4...

I've tried to keep mine in one place but as only 10 entires are available in the Contents Block, it has meant joining some threads together.

Cheers,

Larry

Peter,

I'm with Larry. Can't find your photos. Problems with the site don't help and the indexes you refer to are off the RH side of the screen and not visible to click on.

Thanks for the photos you've sent off line - look fantastic! I don't know if there any different ones on here, but it's nice to know what's in the public domain. Or it would be!

Regards,

Dave.

Hi Coachman and Dave H,

Can't understand what is happening there i can get to it so easy, i thought it a bit strange not having any feedback from any of my posts i had concidered not bothering through lack of interest but as you say if no one can see it they can't respond.

i will post up a new thread to see if that will work.

cheers

My oh my, as I scrolled down these pictures the goods shed got better and better. Then came the final pictures with the roof finished, not just finshed but subtly carrying the green moss that is so familiar and yet hardly ever modelled. I'll have to do mine now.

The work of a real pro. No wonder customer Dave is over the moon! What's on the cards next, the stationmasters house?

Hi Larry and cheers for your kind comments.

It appears i have replies both on this post and on the blog, very weired, the photos you see are somewhat dated and taken right from the photobucket account i guess its down to finding time to post the photos over, there are photos of the station building also of which when i get chance i will post.

cheers

Supurb, I used to live just down the road and passed it hundreds of times in its later days, when the council used to store grit in the yard (that's in the days when Oldham council actually stored some grit for the roads in and around Saddleworth!) and it looks absoluetely spot on.

Pity it doesn't look like that now, can't wait to see more (model) developments.

Yes, Peter has made a superb job of the shed. Due to problems on the site, there are now two sets of photos on here and it is worth also following Peter's suggested link to his full post. On there you'll find the station building, platform and canopy - all to the same excellent standard and equally realistic, with the shed photos below.

These models are being made under commission for me to fit on my layout based on Delph. If you want to see how the layout is comming along, check out my blog by searching for "Dave Holt" or "Delph", if you haven't already. If you have any information regarding Delph I'd love to hear from you.

Hope Peter doesn't mind me highjacking his blog in this respect.

David, i don't mind at all its good to get some feedback, thats what its all about boucing ideas of each other as i have said in earlier posts none of us have achieved perfection and there is allways more to learn and discover.

Thanks for the kind comments.

Red devil,

Cheers for your kind comments also and i guess once living nearby it must be a bit ....... well i don't know what the word is but a bit like me comming across a model building of summut across the way from me so to speak.

cheers

Hi Peter, It was good to meet you today and see your work in the flesh - even more stunning than the pictures. Keep them coming - I may have a go someday if I get bored of building stock.

Blown away, as usual. As a new guy I came across your work on Peterborough North and was/am impressed beyond words. But I'm not having much joy with any blogs, other than the very short ones. So thanks to Iain Robinson for posting the links. Carlise, in particular, presses all my buttons. But hey! There's nothing that's not *cutting edge* to use the metaphor in its right place for once.

Regards,

Tony.
