Ropley - Oil Store part 3

Hi all.

Just a couple of photos of progress the oil store building. I've completed the 3 main brick sections of wall and I'm happy with the effect using the printed brickwork, although I may yet go back and produce another one as I'm not sure the folds are good enough. Really they should have been scored with a brand new knife blade, but we'll see what they look like once they are touched in with paint and this version has been varnished to seal everything!

Cheers!

I think the folds look amazing, much better than my squidgy efforts. It looks like the widths of the walls match perfectly with the bricks as well - you can see the joint between the stringers in the middle of the wall's thickness.

Thanks James & Will!

This one will be used as a test as some of the edges have frayed slightly as a result of not using a sharp enough blade. A quick trip down to the local model shop tomorrow will solve this! (any excuse )

Cheers!

Tom.
