Visiting diesel locos now have means to obtain fuel at Ropley.

Hi all.

Just a quick update to show the fuel pump and shelter which have now been finished. These are all built from assorted platic card sanded & filed to shape along with stretched sprue for the pipes. The Shelter was sprayed with Railmatch Malachite Green in line with the seeming MHR policy of if it doesn't move, paint it green! Weathering is all done with powders. The shelter just needs the limited clearence signs for the back adding to complete it.

I've quite enjoyed getting down to the finer details the last few days, but I think it's back to trees for a while now!

Cheers!

Terrific stuff Tom - at least your fingers will have recovered a little after your last tree making stint...:D

Looks fantastic Tom! Really goes to show the level of detail that can be achieved in 2mm scale. Keep up the good work!

Best regards,

Jeremy

Thanks Pete & Jeremy!

I've worked out dimensions for the water towe itself now, so just need to find some 20mm diameter plastic tube. I also need to establish if the tower is open at the top, or if it has a roof!

Cheers,

Tom.
