Bought myself a Dapol slanty 45xx today. It seems ok, a bit jolty and very high gearing. the lubricant pump on it's managed to come out aswell. I've had it pulling a dummy coach from a 150 around, and it works well when pushing, well on one side of the loop when pulling, but not the other, and driving it backwards over a right hand point but not a left hand one will derail the back bogie when you've got it set to turn. what the devil's going on here? Due to the time i've spent doing nothing here, i've changed my mind. It will be blowers green station in 1964, just before it closed, becaause that way i get to use the interesting diesels, light freight and anyway, the station has everything i wanted in a layout. I've translated it into a trackplan, and it looks ok. but It would help if anyone had a picture of the whole station rather than just the one of the junction or the one of the far ends of the platforms. Also, were there three platforms

It begins...

For christmas, I've gotten a farish sprinter set and plenty of moneys, with which I will buy some more tracks tomorrow, and then I'll begin my layout. If anyone should happen to be reading this, I've two questions. First of all were the sprinters all powered? It doesn't seem like it on the trains themselves, but the model's got a power plant on both coaches. Secondly, where's the cheapest place to get board? I'm using one and half centimetre chip.
