An afternoon off work coupled with amazing weather has resulted in some progress on the painting backlog,
If the weather can continue to saturday I should be able to do the next colour....

I ran out of white primer half way through painting the TDA, that said the tank is well covered and the chassis will be black so I might get away with it. Its a shame as I could have done with spraying the blue today.

31466 is progressing nicely, I finally had some luck with the almost life expired EWS Gold paint. Just needs masking and spraying EWS Red on Saturday

It looks like the work to tidy up the ends of 37196 has done the job, this will be getting the grey bits sprayed tomorrow evening (spray can)

Finally 50002, I had some issues with the BR Blue running in certain areas (it suggests contamination on the surface to me). I will spray the roof black tomorrow (again spray can). The sides may still need a bit of a touch up job.

If the weather holds to the weekend I will be switching back to 1947 and a whole load of coaches to paint...
