In the process of this weeks tidy up I have managed to finally find the majority of the parts required to finish off 50002.

At the start, the contents of the storage box (including the missing bodyside door for 50007)
So last night I set to work reassembling it, unfortunately in the process I lost most of the orange cantrail stripe along one side (despite a coat of varnish that should have sealed it in). I removed the rest and will paint on a replacement once I have got (and mastered) a bow pen.

I am missing one door window, and one of the multiple working jumpers. I need to make up replacements for all of the cab front hand rails (and two door handrails as well.)

Still a lot of tidying work needed to sort out that cantrail stripe, but its coming together at last.

50007 should have been an easy job, however taking the body off I was greated with this:

Mazac rot destroyed the plate at the end of the chassis that holds the coupling pocket in place, and secures the lighting unit. The grill was then replaced before carefully reassembling, trying to ensure that the light bar stayed in the right positon was a little tricky without the fixings but it "should" be ok.
