Coming in from the cold! Otherwise know as 'O' Gauge figure painting

Well it's been a while since I posted on here,

Real life has certainly had a profound effect on my modelling escapades of late.

However, in between things a good friend of mine has taken up 7mm modelling. As a gesture of kindness I thought I'd paint a few Monty's 7mm figures for him.

Here's the finished result:

Finished with Vallejo/Revell acryllics. I built up layers using washes to obtain the effects on the figures. Monty's/Dart figures are a pleasure to work with as always, though the size differential is noticeable!

Cheers,

Mark

Good to see you back posting Mark

I thought that you had swapped NG for 7mm when I first read the title :O :D

BTW, nice work...

Thanks Pete.

Yes it's been a while since I last posted. :O

Nice to paint these figures for my friend though.  I do like the Monty's figures. Well proportioned and detailed, however the guard does look like he's been on growth hormones.

Cheers,

Mark

Morning Robin, Steady! :D

Thanks for those kind words.  Hopefully they'll be a few more posts in the New Year!

Cheers,

Mark

It's been quite a while Mark, nice to see you around again. I like the results you've achieved with those figures, a lot of character there.
