Some Treemendus Scenic Additions

My starter kit arrived the day after I ordered it from Treemendus and the excitment is growing     You can just see my new heater to keep me warm in the winter in the pic   This is the area around the canal that will be grass and trees (See original plan in "A Starting Point")       So next job is to put a base on the canal, put in the tow path, ballast the track upto the first point and some brick work on the canal walls then start the greenary   Watch this space

Some light Weathering for Prince Henry

Having now added some PH Designs bogie steps, replaced the incorrect Bachmann tanks with some Hejan versions, added some additional pipework and appled some light weathering to the bogies, tanks and wheels. I think it is starting to look more realistic     I need to weather the bufferbeams and pipes, add some pipework behind the body side windows and to add a little more detail around the tanks to finish off the look. (Then do it all again to Prince William!!)   If anybody has any

A Starting Point

Hi All   Royal Yard is a fictitious TMD Home for locos that have been on the Royal Train Locos since 2000. The base board has been made with 12 mm MDF and framed with 25 x 38 wood. The track is laid (or will be laid) on cork tiles cut to suit and is DCC.   The plan shows how it should look when finished (I am sure it will change )     This is where I am at the moment       The locos you can see are 47798 Prince William in shed No 4(needs lots more work!) 47799 Prince Henry
