Comet large window A20 first and wartime brown C77

First up the wartime brown C77 all third, today I added the remaining transfers (the lining for the other side was a real pain as the transfer kept splitting, so I'm dreading the B Set with all those extra doors). Once it was finished I gave the coach a quick coat of Halfords satin varnish to seal it all in (and prevent any further damage to the lining). The roof is still too glossy so that will need a coat of matt varnish to finish it off. The plastic wheels have been replaced with metal, and the couplings temporarily replaced with small tension locks (which eventually will be replaced with screwlinks once the layout is more complete.

Moving onto the Comet A20, the roof has now been glued to the sides and the chassis has been assembled. So it is now starting to look like a coach. Still a long way to go, with hinges and droplights needed on the body still, all roof detail, bogies and underframe details...
