Just some final tweaks and paint touch up and itl be finally finished. Bought the kit about this time last year, painted it and then discovered the detailing etches! so was stripped and rebuilt cant quite work out wjy its taken so long though.

This is an excellent model, the paint finish is particularly good. Nice work.

Thanks Paul, the railmatch spray paints are a real godsend.

    Thats a model terrific James,
Can I ask how you got on with the Railmatch sprays? Thats just the colour I'm looking for, what is it listed as? Is it described as matt o satin?
    Many thanks,

Thanks Dave, the colour is late BR bauxite, its just the standard finish that comes out the can! the sprays are brilliant i use them on just about everything these days, really easy to use and leave a good finish. Only thing to make sure of is making sure the nozle doesnt become clogged, after spraying i invert the can and let it spray till it becomes clear it may seem a bit wasteful but it works and then take the nozle off and blow through myself and give it a wipe, nothing more frustrating than it blocking up and wrecking a job with blothcy paint. plenty of paint in them i can get 3 40s painted out of a can of blue, and thats about 3 light caots each!
Thanks very much, I will investigate.
    All the best, Dave.
looks realy well matey, was it easy to build?
Fairly easy Martin, basic shell from golden arrow and then i bought the etches from McGeordie whos on here to finish it off, great little project

I have this to do myself. The only thing I'd want to add is bigger rods - GT3's were pretty beefy.
Other than that, it looks superb! I hope I can produce something as good!
Thanks Max, i really wanted to beef up the rods as well but cudnt think of a way to do them, a set would really set it off but im happy for now
