|Description:||Saltisford Lane is a fictitious Depot Layout set in Scotland in the 1980’s, it is imagined that the layout is situated to the west of Glasgow near to the much loved Eastfield Depot.
The layout comprises of a small running shed for fuelling and light maintenance at the rear left of the layout with a larger Traction & Rolling Stock Maintenance shed situated to the right hand side of the bridge carrying “Saltisford Lane” the road which the depot is named after.
Many Scottish based locos can be seen mainly those from Eastfield but occasionally Inverness locos appear on the depot when they are needed for exam work at the T&RSMD.
Locos that are regularly seen on the layout range from Classes 08-47 as well as DMU’s from the Class 101 & 156 stables many are fitted with Legomanbiffo Sound Chips and can be heard on the layout.
