Latest addition to the Blog covers the work of long-time 3mm Society member Tony Seal. It's a fascinating story, of how he almost by accident started in 3mm scale, and how he continued it while serving for many years in the Navy. An accomplished engineer by training, Tony has built a wide range of models, usually with a Southern Railway background. He is, however, particularly noted as a coach builder, having built over 500 of the things, and moreover has carried off the annual  Cuckmere Trophy for building coaches an astounding 18 times. It is an entertaining read.

Warley has been and gone, and the latest addition to the blog covers the 3mm Society's significant  presence there. Five layouts, Society stands, and practical demonstrations were the order of the day, and these are illustrated in the blog.

A new addition to the blog covers the work of long-time Society member Howard Love. Howard has been producing a wide and varied range of models in 3mm/ft scale over a long period, and his superb diaromas, often depicting scenes of the Edwardian era, are regular prize winners at the 3mm Society AGM. His architectural models can be considered amongst the best there is in any scale. He and his wife Ann have lived in France for around 20 years, and over the last 15 years a large layout, providing an effective showcase for his modelling skills, has evolved in a converted cowshed attached to their house. A good read and some excellent pics.
