ben pez
hi all Just wondering if anyone has any photos of the old wooden "hangmans bridge" that was just north of ais gill summit. The bridge was demolished a few years ago, struggling to find any decent detailed shots of it using google or flickr. Only ones i can find are the ones of it demolished and laid as a pile of timber! Going to scratch build the bridge for the layout but could do with a good photo to work from. Cheers Ben
RMweb Premium Reorte Posted October 16, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 16, 2015 Well the demolished ones are still possibly useful for the component parts. The best I've managed to find on Google just have it in the background (searching Ais Gill Viaduct). I don't know if the pieces are still in the field they've been left in in those photos. Sorry I can't be more helpful than that.

RMweb Premium jamie92208 Posted October 17, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 17, 2015 There's a very similar one just past Bentham on the the route to Wennington. We modelled it for Long Preston as a scenic break in 7mm. I've still got it in the shed somewhere if you want some pictures. Jamie
