RMweb Premium Andy Hayter Posted December 31, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 31, 2015 Since upgrading to W10 I have gradually suffered more and more problems with the forum. This started with the inability to use the quote function. I tried the previous solution of changing the version to 2013 but this seems not to work, or not to stay installed. I note other posters complaining about the same issue. In the last few days the problems seem to have become worse. If I try and copy something from a previous post using CTRL C and CTRL V and then use (for example) the italics button to differentiate this text from my reply, I then cannot use the post button. It just does not work. If I try and add an emotion, I cannot post - again, the post button just does not work. This is gradually making the forum unusable. I am using a lap top and not an android device - if that helps. Any suggestions gratefully received.,
RMweb Gold RFS Posted December 31, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 31, 2015 Which browser are you using? My PC and laptop have been on W10 since August and I've never had a problem with this forum using W10. I use IE 11 as my browser.

brigo
Microsoft Edge Sorry, that's the problem. Edge is a work in progress and has many shortcomings. Windows 10 also has IE 11 and I suggest changing to that, or Firefox or Chrome. Brian
RMweb Gold RFS Posted December 31, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 31, 2015 Microsoft Edge I've just tried Edge and it posted this for me with no problems at all.. In fact it's fixed a problem I have with IE whereby the quote line is displayed twice, and further copies are added every time I edit. Not so with Edge as you can see. Having changed to the 2013 format you must exit IE/Edge for it to take effect.
