Welcome to the new Stroudley's Terriers group, here on RMweb.

 

Firstly, many thanks must go to Andy Y for setting up the group.

 

So, this is a place to discuss all things Terrier, whether it be the original A1 builds as per William Stroudley and the LB&SCR; the Marsh rebuilds to A1X; the Isle of Wight conversions; the 2-4-0T trials; the sales overseas; the Australian Terrier-inspired locomotives; and everything else from design to build to mainline usage to preservation.

 

It can be model, real, or imagined (which, for instance, would include the presence of 'Stepney' in the Thomas the Tank Engine books). It can even include driving them (which I did once with 662 'Martello', and remember it fondly).
