Model Train Project in Sri Lanka

Hi to all,

I am Christo Perera from far away Sri Lanka. I joined this forum yesterday with the sole intention of finding partners, friends, investors who could join me to start Sri Lanka's first ever model train project. It's a very interesting project which is planned in several stages. The 1st stage is app 1500 sq ft depicting the scenic mountain region of my country covering 3-4 stations, a historic loop, tunnels, bridges, level crossings, tea estates, paddy fields and all that is connected to in real life to the current single line railway track built by the British in Sri Lanka in the 19th century. I will let you know the details of the project extension on a private basis as we communicate.

This is a tourism related leisure project for which I have done intense research over a few years and now on to the stage of launching within the next year. I need serious help with the construction of prototype buildings to give the layout a totally Sri Lankan feel. The track starts at a 6" elevation from benchtop to a maximum of 24" over a track length of 250'. There is already a good team from Sri Lanka in place for the electronics and the landscaping. I need more to join for the planning and construction.

So I am looking for the following

1. Anyone who is interested in partnering me on this project as an investor

2. Modellers who can undertake orders for making of prototype buildings, viaducts, bridges etc

3. Anyone who would like to come over to Sri Lanka and assist in the construction of the layout either as a passion or as a professional

This is a project which has been a dream being built on for so many years. I sincerely hope this forum will help me to find the right people. If you wish to communicate with me please feel free to drop me an email on christo.perera@chrisslogix.com. I will be happy to discuss and see how we can move forward.
