Lady_Ava_Hay
Just a short note to invite you to see me driving the Mid Hants Railway's 2 car Hampshire unit between Alton and Alresford. I have booked and paid for the unit all day and as a solo effort so I will be driving to a timetable up and back. I will be there from 8am until about 6pm and will then decamp to The Bell for dinner and drinks....probably a lot of them as I have booked a room for the night. I imagine some of my friends will turn up at various junctures so if you fancy some fun with us, do please join in. The day is the 15th July 2016. Entry is free and contributions to the railway are welcome. You cannot ride as a passenger on the day but all the signal boxes and Alresford buffet will be open. I have launched a Facebook page under the title Glamtrack and you are welcome to check things out there as well.

RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted June 30, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 30, 2016 Well if the ship actually deposits us within reach of civilisation on the due date I might well pop along as I have a need to visit Alton (for essential purchases) in any event some time soon. Lady_Ava_Hay
I did it!! I actually managed three full trips from Arlesford to Alton and return with lunch included. I learned a lot and enjoyed the day immensely. XXXX
