Philip Jackson
See http://www.vulcantothesky.org/news/798/82/Avro-Vulcan-XH558.html DRS purchased a heritage Class 37 Diesel-Electric locomotive in 2015, rescuing her from a uncertain future with the objective of carrying out a major refurbishment programme and returning her to mainline working. It was generously proposed to the Trust that she should be named 'Avro Vulcan XH558’ and re-registered to number 37558, an offer which was immediately accepted. Arun Sharma
That sounds entirely reasonable as after all DRS is/was owned by the Nuclear Decommissioning Agency and XH558 could loosely be described as a decommissioned nuclear asset!
Arun Sharma
That sounds entirely logical and reasonable.
