Hi Martin

Delivered today both my Colas/Freightliner 70's and have to say you take the top award for packaging, please pass on my thanks to your team because quite frankly they outdid themselves...it was like opening a beautifully wrapped X-mas present  :imsohappy:

Cheers

Thank you for those kind words Steve. That will be another round of thanks heading over to the C37LG WAGs! Our Sales Officer's good lady specifically.

It costs me a fortune in Flowers and chocolates every AGM! But we wouldn't be allowed to play trains without their support  :yahoo:

If anyone is visiting the DRS open day this coming Saturday (21st July) ?? We are very honoured to have been invited to bring our shop along to the event this year.

Do come and say hello if you are there, as it is always good to catch up with our RMweb supporters.

post-27292-0-13674900-1531652395.jpg

It goes without saying that our team have been busy handling lots of big boxes at "Goods Inwards," so you can be sure to pick up lots of goodies.

Until we get the open day out of the way, our online stock will remain at a low level. If there is anything anyone is hankering after in the near future? do drop us a PM.

All the best, and maybe see you on Saturday?

Martin

Good afternoon to you all.

I was informed at lunchtime that we had a mystery delivery from Bachmann, which could only mean one thing....

A new release!

I have just been told this is 47245 and we have three of them. I will put them up for sale when I get time tonight, but if anyone wants to bag one to save me a job? Then drop me a PM. Obviously we will am charging the "going rate" which I have not looked up to be completely honest with you, as I am at work!

Until later ☺

And 47245 is live, Ladies and Gentlemen

We only have three, and are unlikely to get anymore. Although I suspect these won't sell quite as fast as the Colas Class 70's! Which went in......whoosh. Minutes!

Thanks to you all for your support, and if anyone that buys one is visiting the DRS Open Day on Saturday? we are more than happy for you to collect it in person. Along with any other items we are currently selling.

All the best.

Martin

Particular highlights, and new to us.

We have one Bachmann 32-850A BR Standard Class 9F 92220 BR Green Late Crest ‘Evening Star’ remaining.

Good afternoon!

Today brings forth a selection of updates for you all, so without further ado...

First off we are happy to report that Regional Railways liveried 37422 (Bachmann 32-376A) is back in stock with us. This is a model that we haven't supplied in a while so if you missed out previously and have been on the look out, now is your chance!

post-33105-0-39615600-1532872868.png

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-32-376A-Class-37-37422-Robert-F-Fairlie-Regional-Railways-Livery-C37LG/153117407918?hash=item23a6823aae:g:ovEAAOSwcj5ZTD3h

Speaking of Bachmann Class 37s, it is expected that we will be taking delivery of two new models in the coming weeks. These will be:

Coal Sector liveried 37049 'Imperial' (Bachmann 32-790)

post-33105-0-68115400-1532876558.png

And Colas liveried 37099 'Merl Evans' (Bachmann 32-789)

post-33105-0-70189500-1532876622.png

Bachmann have stated that 37099 is going to have a limited run and therefore once our allocation has sold, we will not be getting any more.

We will keep you updated on the delivery of these, and any other new models, as and when they come into stock.

In the meantime, all our current stock can be found at the usual place: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/c37lg/m.html

Finally, we are going to be taking our sales stand down to Eridge station on Saturday 4th August for the Spa Valley's Diesel Gala, so if you are in the vicinity do pop in and see us! (Please note that whilst Philip is intending to take a card reader with him, it is possible that sales will be cash only due to a poor signal locally).

Additionally, we'd just like to point out that there will be no postal runs between 8th and 21st August due to planned down time. Any orders made before or after these dates will be processed and delivered as normal, however any orders placed in the interim will naturally be held until after this period.

As ever, thank you for your continued support!

Kind regards

James

  • 2 weeks later...
  • 2 weeks later...

Well after what seems like an eternity, 37099 is here, along with 37049. I do feel for "Imperial", who can only long for the spotlight that surrounds Merl!

Anyhow. We are allocated 32 of each, which are coming in two batches; and tonight the first batch has gone live. The profits from these, "should", cover the cost of the new Main Bearings for our Power Unit which will be going back together very soon.

As we are just back off holiday, we must admit that these won't go out till Friday at the earliest, so if you are in a rush? please take this into consideration.

So I give you 37049 "Imperial" in Triple Grey Railfreight livery with Coal Sector markings.

And for some, the main event. 37099 "Merl Evans. 1947 - 2016" in COLAS Livery

Thanks for your patience, especially those of you that pre-ordered either, or both locos from us.

All the best

Good evening everyone.

Great news (For us mostly!) This weeks batch of 37099's has now sold out. Hopefully we should get the second batch by Friday next week; which should be around 12 locos by my reckoning.

If anyone is still looking for one? I am more than happy to sell a further 10 (so we don't over commit ourselves, which would be embarrassing!) in advance, but obviously we won't be posting them out until 4th September at the earliest, appreciating that next week is a short one for Bachmann. Drop me a PM or email sales@c37lg.co.uk if you are interested in one.

Thanks to those of you that managed to bag one from us this week. This was always going to be the 2018 release that made a real difference to the progress of 37003's transformation back into D6703.

All the best.

Martin.
