RMweb Gold Ian Simpson Posted September 9, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 9, 2016 Apologies, I'm sure old hands will think this a daft question. But does the SL-43 loco lift work with both PECO Code 75 and Code 100 rails? Also (and this is mere curiosity on my part, although it may help some other people thinking about using the lift) is it compatible with other manufacturers' track as well? RMweb Premium BR60103 Posted September 10, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 10, 2016 Ian: I just tried mine (which is a pretty old model) on a variety of tracks. Peco 100 and 70 are just fine. Rapido Bendy-Track was fine. (Code 85?) Scale bullhead (C&L I think), the lift sat a bit high because of the chairs. You could probably get a loco in, but there's a bit of a bump. Tri-Ang (super 4?) railhead is too wide to fit in.

RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted September 10, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 10, 2016 Yes it is and so is the DCC concepts MPD lift available in several lengths. Surprisingly often cheapest at Gaugemaster for that compared to Hattons! http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/111072-dcc-concepts-motive-power-depot-stock-cassette/?fromsearch=
RMweb Gold Ian Simpson Posted September 10, 2016 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted September 10, 2016 Many thanks, Paul, I hadn't realised anyone else made them. Those do look very nice, and the longer ones would take an entire train on my 1840s layout!
