Today I paid a visit to the Great western Brick show at Swindon, now they usually have a couple of impressive 'signature' models so to speak - The model of St Pancras being one and a massive US navy destroyer being another of the more memorable ones at past shows.

This year it was the turn of flying Scotsman to be one of the stars of the show - now before you shrug your shoulders, we are not talking about your usual Lego trains here. This is massive model of Flying Scotsman plus three Pullman cars on custom built Lego track!

The other signature piece was a massive mini-fig scale diorama of the middle ages - featuring a Viking invasion, a boat burial being, well, burred and a beautifully detailed village. Of particular note was the realistic nature of the trees and ground cover - which goes to show its not just model railways where sceneics are important.
