The big question is ... When will we see the first ones on ebay for those who didn't order them?

(Already set up the notification to see what happens)

If anyone is suffering "non-buyer's regret" - C&M Models of Carlisle or Colletts of Exmouth may still have some for order, but I don't know what is sold out (or not).

Cheers, Mike

they seem to have some, but at a very inconvenient financial time for toy buying ;-)

Hi hiffano,

I am sorry you missed out on the tankers... But we still haven't called time on the KFA, OO TEA, 320/321 or Pendolino orders...

Oh, and now we have actually delivered something in N there is also our new project that is being announced (by us, for once!) within days...

Cheers

Don't worry Ben, I'm awaiting birthday money then will speculatively order a Yorkshire Metro 321, and the "new project" if i N gauge will also be ordered.

Hello all,

One more thing: It will take us some time to get through all the orders but we feel all will have been delivered by the end of this month.

If by then you have not received your models, please get in touch.

Cheers

Hi Royal Oak,

I am sure you will have seen the first EP sample in the relevant thread, and we are expecting painted OO TEA tanker samples on display at Warley, on the stand we are sharing with Rapido Trains.

There we will also be unveiling our next N gauge wagon, and be available to chat to anyone about our new powered model, which will be unveiled on our website very soon.

Cheers

It may not seem like much, but to us it's a small piece of model railway history!

Hi Graham,

Thanks for that.

I know I bang on about it a bit, but I really cannot emphasise enough how we could not have done it without everyone stepping up when it counted.

I know it takes a lot to trust people with your money up front. I'd be suspicious and I know that quite rightly everyone will have thought very long and hard about our credibility, our reliability, whether we had the right temperament to stick with a project through thick and thin.

Getting started in a flurry of excitement is one thing; actually reaching a finished model is something very different.

One thing I would say to anyone considering a crowd-funding project of their own is that this is more of a marathon than a sprint and you need stamina, determination and an unflappable temperament to see it through. Mike and I accepted that challenge, each of us having different and complementary skills, and I believe we have delivered.

Choosing the right manufacturing partner is also vital. People need to have confidence that the product they are signing up for will be of high quality and that the manufacturer has a respected track record. But you, as the project manager, also need to be sure privately that you can deal with that manufacturer and trust them, so when problems arise - and they will - you can work together to solve them.

Jason and the rest of the gang at Rapido could not have been better to work with and have done an amazing job.

Now people can see the standard of the models we hope to engender more confidence in our methodology, transparency and manufacturing partners as we prepare to announce our new model and also the new modern wagon we will be proposing for N at Warley.

This evening I am raising a glass to the TEAs - tomorrow the focus is back on the KFA, Pendolino, 320/321, OO TEAs and Class ..!

Cheers

If I may, a quick update on what TEAs we still have available:

VTG - Red (Triple)         lots of these

VTG - Blue (Single), VTG Enviromessage (Triple) and Greenergy (Triple)            a few of each of these

VTG - Red (Single)        1 left available.

For all the others, we have sold our allocation. But if Revolution have any excess stock left after all orders have been satisfied, they have agreed to let us have further supplies. Obviously, as yet, we do not know what we might get.

Our delivery should arrive in the next few days, and we will despatch as soon as we are able.

Pleased to see no mention of the 00 TEA's being in focus, need more time to get pennies together :D

Liking the packaging of these N models.  Are the 00 ones being packaged the same way?

I did see the EP sample, very nice indeed, and the post above is not in any way a complaint, the OO ones will be here when they are here and the main thing is that you are happy with what you are bringing to market.

Thanks! We haven't yet looked at the OO packaging options. I imagine it will be based around Rapido's HO packaging, but the colours and imagery will follow the same common theme, as we designed it very carefully to be something that we could scale, and also use for other similar items such as the KFA.

And omission duly corrected...

Cheers

I’m perfectly happy with the artwork for 00 (00 please, not OO), although it took a little while to spot the Revolution branding. With the branding so discrete and the scale so prominent, I don’t see anything wrong with the prominent N in the branding being used for 00. It only hints at the company’s origin.

I’d prefer ice-cube packaging with a card box to a plastic outer box but I have no particularly strong preference either way.

This is one of the few projects where I don’t welcome delay and that’s because I’ve paid up front. Still, nothing a touch of alcoholic beverage can’t help me cope with. After all, as is repeatedly said, take the time to get it right. Once we have it, the delay is forgotten but any shortcoming is there for all time.
