woodenhead
So Kernow have posted a picture on Facebook of something in a box that is in a bigger box in a ship due to dock in Southampton next week. They say it is an unannounced model. This could be interesting...... Edited November 4, 2016 by Mod4 Thread title updated
woodenhead
Looks like some sort of open wagon - can't make out an era but it's quite long but not a bogie wagon and not very tall.
JSpencer
It is in one very tough box for a wagon. My thoughts are another O2 variant or maybe a J94 in Kernow packaging. Of course it could be something completely new (loco, wagon). We"ll see.
Brian Hawkins
It's obvious to me that it's a box full of D6XX's
JSpencer
Their facebook page shows O2s arranged as if the 8th member is missing (note also the two O2s with cranky side rods!). Edited October 21, 2016 by JSpencer
R.Langley
From the photo on their FB page I can make out the words of what I think is "Air Braked" on the packaging. Along with a 3 letter wagon code ending in A.

Along with a 3 letter wagon code ending in A. which is what I am thinking, some sort of modernish wagon - but another SR Green 02 would be nice but unlikely.

RMweb Premium Gwiwer Posted October 21, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 21, 2016 There is no guarantee that the boxes shown in the release are those containing the unannounced model. Kernow made a couple of cryptic comments in recent newsletters about an imminent and unannounced model and they have also done this before. I too am intrigued but am not letting the boxes shown sway my mind one way or another. All will be revealed as soon as possible. Newsletter time within the next few hours as well though that may not contain anything more than the current Facebook teaser.
JSpencer
Having used a bigger screen to look close at the boxes, i would have to change my mind and agree that some form of all new wagon is on the way. It looks to be brown too! Edited October 21, 2016 by JSpencer

Wild Boar Fell
The text appears to say BPA Air Braked ..... Wagon. But the BPA's I don't believe ever had sides, this appears to have 1/3 height sides.

If it is a BPA, then these had a two-plank side:- http://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/brboplateair/h14b90113#h14b90113

Kernow.png At least four of the seven in fact, two worse than the others. I was amazed that any manufacturer would put out an advert with a photo like this. SRman
I got to thinking too deeply about this: if Kernow have announced an unannounced model, I wonder when they will un-unannounce it. Or am I just over-thinking this?
