theflyingspanner
I need to trigger a flagman if the following applies, i can think of two possible ways to ask the same question but no way to put this into TrainController.QUESTION VER 1'BLOCK A' is 'OCCUPIED'&'LOCO' in 'BLOCK A' has 'ENGINE SOUND' on QUESTION VER 2IS 'BLOCK A' occupied by 'LOCO' with 'ENGINE SOUND' onIdeally a Flagman to ask thisThe information is needed in order for a 'PREREQUISITE' to decide if it needs to delay (to allow the sound to be turned off) or not.Just delaying regardless does not work for me. _________________
RMweb Gold john dew Posted November 12, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 12, 2016 I suspect a switch using a vehicle group as a condition will be a better pre requisite Some more info would help about the need for the pre requisite Do you sometimes run sound equipped locos with sound off on a schedule.....or is this to differentiate between sound locos and non sound locos that are used on the same schedule? RMweb Gold john dew Posted November 17, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 17, 2016 Hi Alan I am assuming : You need to set up a delay to turn off the sound at the end of a schedule but only for locos with sound on The delay will vary depending which loco is in the block. Set up a flagman for each loco with sound. ( If some locos need the same delay they could be put in a vehicle group using the one flagman) Trigger each flagman when the CI for the end block is activated. You could add the specific schedule(s) to the loco condition, In the schedule end command list each flagman as a pre-requisite followed by the appropriate delay Only one flagman will be activated unless a loco without sound is used....in which case no flagman will be triggered This only works if sound listed locos are always run with sound on........if you sometimes run them with sound off it becomes more complicated and would require a switch as a condition John
