Setting-up this evening has gone well. We are still familiarising ourselves with the venue, this being our second show here in Longfield. We have got some really great layouts who have set-up this evening including Bear Creek Junction, Melton Mowbray North, Sutton and Thornbury Hill to name a few.

We have two more additional stands, Powerbond Glue and Etched Brass Kit Building Demonstration by Peter Clarke.

The clear-up this afternoon went very well. We were all finished by 5:50pm (not quite our record of 5:00pm but that was at a smaller venue).

Plenty of photos of the exhibition have been uploaded to our Facebook page and anyone who visited the show is more than welcome to upload any to this thread.

Please feel free to add any comments about the show. We will consider them and other feedback we receive and see if we can make any improvements for future shows.

Thank You.

I visited on Saturday - an excellent show.

The links to the traders on the webpage advertising the show were very useful, I soon discovered I needed lots of things before I went, so was able to make a list and a note of the stand numbers.

The layouts were all good, and some really impressive.

A good range of trade, and I picked up some genuine bargains.

Tea at 50p was good value.

I would do one thing differently next year - go by train, parking was difficult.

All in all a great show, I look forward to next year.

We do know the situation regarding on-site car park at Longfield is far from ideal and even the off-site overflow at the day nursery 100 yards up the road got full up quickly, especially on Saturday.

We were not aware that there was football training on Saturday and a football match on Sunday until on the morning of those days.

We could not use the tennis courts for parking exhibitors' vehicles for the risk of car fluids, especially diesel, damaging the surface.

We will be looking at various solutions and options for next time.
