My guess is something to pull Mk3 coaches,....and absolutely nothing GWR as they have had a hard time with the Dean Goods on this forum....... You think they took any notice of that? (Although they are no doubt taking notice of what NRM?Locomotion are saying to them)
sp1
You think they took any notice of that? (Although they are no doubt taking notice of what NRM?Locomotion are saying to them)Actually, now you mention it no! I couldn't put a smiley/ grinning face on the end of my post as they don't seem to work on my phone. However, I am/ might be(!) looking forward to how it turns out: we might be surprised, and I might just buy one anyway.... Edit to add: thinking about it, their originally announced aim was to announce models when they were nearly due to arrive, which happened with the Adams Radial, and some of the wagons. We seem to have been waiting for ages for the Dean Goods, so possibly your comment about the NRM might be significant? Karhedron
I guess anything in N gauge would be too much to hope for.
JSpencer
Did not find anything for yourself in the Hornby and Bachmann annoucements? Never mind, froth again with the forthcoming Oxfordrail ones. If you are lucky, there could be something for you.

Hroth
An announcement about the arrival time of the Dean Goods would be interesting. Some suitable wagons for it to pull and accompany the six-legged Toad would be helpful! Ummm.... Perhaps they'll cut Heljan off at the pass and announce a Great Bear! (Imagine the froth and arguments over the proportions and details of that.....)
Hroth
Caley 812 Just had a peek at that on Wikipedia - looks like a round-firebox Dean Goods! Just a bit of tweaking to the CADs......
Mark Saunders
There is always a possibility that they may go for another Yorkshire built industrial loco' as there is commonality in design!Plus there must be scope for more pregrouping wagons, perhaps a hopper?Mark Saunders Edited January 12, 2017 by Mark Saunders
ThaneofFife
yeah it could be another AC electric and the rumour mill was suggesting somebody was bringing out a new 86 so if this announcement comes ahead of any Heljan announcement at ModelRail Scotland and its a no show Id say Heljan have gone for a body retool. either way good news for lovers of the growing range of hifi overhead locos. RMweb Premium PhilJ W Posted January 11, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 11, 2017 I guess anything in N gauge would be too much to hope for. They are introducing N scale sets of cars for carflats, something to put them on perhaps?

scottrains29
Class 43 HST. Not much else hauls HST coaches! Oxford have said they would match locos to wagons/coaches. The Hornby one is fine but could be improved. It's also unusual to have such an iconic and popular train only produced by one manufacturer. If Oxford were to produce a class 43 and Hornby new about it, it would explain why Hornby have only one example in this years catalogue and why they made it a ltd ed.
