Bachmann wickham trolley dcc fitting

I would like to know if somebody have fitted a dcc decoder? I have looked at this i was thinking fo removing

the resistors and coils like you do on the larger models? under the trolley and fit a decoder in that space (LokPilot Nano Standard which is 8x7mm by 2.4 mm High )

Three ways of doing it - under the roof of the trolley (not too good but done by Hattons). Less obvious - on top of the trailer with a new cover made or buried in the chassis of the trolley - see post 651 onwards in the Wickham Trolley thread http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/82311-wickham-trolley/page-27

Ps I have seen in the mag that you can fit a decoder with the circuit board removed.

That's how I did mine too. I snapped off the metal arm that the PCB retaining screw went into as well, leaving a clear space for the decoder.
