It is with great sadness I let you all know that my grandfather, the Reverend Kenneth Newbon, passed away in November aged 86. He had been battling some health issues for over a year and after a brief illness of pneumonia he passed into 'God's Great Kingdom'. He was well known for his railway, 'West Midland' the title granted to him by the late Edward Beal who grandpa became friends with through the railway modeller. His layout was gifted to the late Victor Harman of Sleaford who kept it running until his untimely death from Parkinsons. Now the mantle has passed to me to carry on the family tradition of model railways.

Ben, 'The Antipodean Grandson'
