Just checked and Cardiff City are away on that day. It was a choice between spending the afternoon with a load of hobby obsessed old men with backpacks.......or go to the model show!

Just a brief update - the 3rd. Cardiff (Small) Model Railway Show focus group (all two of them) held a strategy meeting this week, in the 40'C and 55% humidity of a seedy tapas bar in the Murcian campo.

.

Interested parties will be circulated shortly with proposals, invitations etc.

.

Watch this space, and ignore any fixture lists !

we should be exhibiting with the first showing of Crossley scrap a 4ft model based on the scrapyard at Shipley, so yes some small layouts and it is a small show , having exhibited twice once with BSC Shepcote Lane tippler siding and Penny lane depot also doing a demonstration this year, maybe it is quality over quantity

Fourteen layouts from a miniscule diorama up to 20' 0" x 2'0"

.

Or put it another way, my wife and I have differing views as to what constitutes 'small'.

At this rate you will need to rename it the middle sized Cardiff show. It's looking very good.

Definitely in my diary.
