MGR Hooper!
Hi guys, I've got a customer looking to add DCC sound to one of his custom built trams. I have no real info about the tram excpet that it's from the 1980s era from Calcutta. He's not too fussed about accuracy but obviously wants DCC sound for a tram/streetcar of that time. Can anyone suggest some good decoders.Modern day trams are too silent and out of the question, the older trams/streetcars that run on DC usually have a very distinctive sound which also sounded different due to the quality of road/track laying of the day. One very prominent feature was a bell also. I've added some links to a few videos for you tram experts to look out for. If you'll know of a DCC Sound decoder for a tram/streetcar that sounds similar, please let me know. Edited May 23, 2017 by MGR Hooper!
