Johncheznous
Hello all, I am moving house and have decided to sell my large 00 layout. Will concentrate on my G scale garden railway in the future, as I find detail more interesting, and more Grandchildren resistant!!!! I guess e-bay will be my best bet. Any other suggestions? brianusa
Hi John, I traded up in my train life from OO to G. Didn't go the garden route but E bay was a good source. The main trouble with the weight, was the cost of shipping. There used to be a toy shop ( McCullochs?) in Bangor by the old harbour near McKee clock and I bought some Hornby there years ago, so probably long gone by now. The G gauge didn't last long as I moved on to tinplate trains. Brian.
RMweb Gold tractionman Posted May 25, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 25, 2017 McCullough's are still here Brian, still a few Hornby items in the shop window too! I wonder, John, whether you might be as well to sell the 00 layout as a job lot through the classifieds of The Spectator, I've seen others sell on model railway stuff there. It'd save on postage costs. All the best, Keith
