I commissioned  NCB transfers in 4mm scale from steve at Railtec transfers as i paid for the design work etc they should be cheaper for you to purchase, worth dropping him a line,

Regards Peter.

Hi Peter,

The only NCB stuff I can find on the Railtec website is for railway locos and wagons?

The stuff I am after is for road vehicles, predominently lorries.

Unless the site search is missing somthing?

Thanks

Dear Phil,

Do you still require me to make any of these for you or are you sorted now?

Phil

Hi Phil,

The ones done by Steve were using his old process and are not possible on his new equipment without a lot of work.

So - If you are happy to look into this and get back to me - Please do!

Once we can see what can be done I think there will be several interested members waiting to get them.

Thanks

Fox Transfers still do the former Roadscale National Coal Board transfers in 4mm scale, check their website for prices etc.

Hi there,

According to Fox themselves, they have only ever done the decals for railway wagons - not road vehicles.

At one time they did a private commission for a range of NCB decals but they didn't own the artwork.

Thanks

Hi all,

I've had a couple of new items added to the list of things to do...

The Guy Big J in NCB paint....

The models I have been supplied are the Lledo ones.

The only photo I have been provided is on this link

https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3932/33070987970_149ffbd2cb_b.jpg

Does anyone know of any more photos?

Looking at the linked photo I appear to need to build some proper bodies!

Thanks

edit - Yes, I am aware that the photo is a different type cab.........

The Lledo Guy is a nice casting, it really captures the look of the prototype. I converted one to a BigJ4T tractor for the Black Country Blues project. Detailed in this thread if it's of any interest.

Hi Arthur,

Yes - I followed what you did for the Guy on BCB - So did the fella I'm doing this one for.

I will have to do one the same as Merfyn for him as well - BR Yellow livery - sooner or later.

Thanks
