Lastgaspandy
I was doing a bit of maintenance on an old mashima motor (circa 20 years old) which wasn't running too well. diagnosed as a loose screw holding one of the brushes in place. Seeing as it was loose i thought i'd take it fully out and give it a clean. Trouble is not really knowing what i was doing or what to expect i've gone and lost he brush and the little spring which sits inside the screw. Mr Google hasn't been much help in finding spare parts. Which got me wondering. What size are the brush and spring and could another manufactures parts fit. Has anyone else tried to fit alternatives and had any luck. I did read somewhere that some one had used mashima brushes in a Bachmann motor with success, although i couldn't be clear what Bachmann motor that was. Thanks in advance.
