The Bigbee Line Posted May 30, 2017 Share Posted May 30, 2017 I had a quick read. If I understand the text and the pictures its a kind of stub point. With an overlapping halved joint (rather like an expansion joint). The switching is achieved by the switch part lifting up and over. I will watch with interest. If it is as I imagine a trailing move from the wrong direction will result in a derailment every time. Not that such moves should take place.
