The Milk Train: with an International Twist?

I personally find it hilarious that this milk train is practically the same composition of those of the Western Region in the early BR days. A puffing loco, 15 milk wagons, and a brake coach tagged onto the rear!

At least the Indians (and the New Zealanders) still carry milk on rail.

They probably think it hilarious that we're not smart enough to do likewise  :jester:

The Indian Railways still tag an occasional bogie milk tanker onto the rear of fast expresses that are headed to or through more remote areas to supply milk, but it's becoming less common. But this is a first for me, seeing a full-on rake of milk tanks!

But it seems everything BR does, Indian Railways mirrors 30 years later! Example: BR switched completely from the maroon MK1 livery to the monotonous blue and white around 1970. Indian Railways went from maroon to blue and white full in 2000. The WR's silver milk tanks behind hydraulics pounding away in the 70's, in the video you see silver tanks behind a diesel pounding away alike.
