Crisis Rail
Mind the bones* And watch out for the Rabbit. To think that this was going to be given the "good news" by the circular saw only last week - some may say it still should - but there you go.Based on the well tried format (done to death maybe?) of Railfreight - Scotrail - Highland Rail late 70' to 80's - I started this about July last year intending to be a first module of 3 or 4 MDF 1" thick boards approx 16" by 30" of "something Scottish" after an inspirational trip to Fort William and Mallaig but slightly more industrial.Had a quick look at the Oil terminal at Fort William also much to the disgust of the Missus As usual real life got in the way and another project was consigned to the (creaking) garage rafters.Ironically the upheaval of Carrs C&L to the new owners - the lack of a few lengths of Bullhead to lay for the ongoing "OIL" microlayout wanting to progress and also amazingly having a bit of spare time saw numerous Arachnids duly evicted and the project resurrected partly to the fact that it had some nice but not shiny new C & L track already ballasted on it and maybe a new approach was deserved. Will post a few earlier shots later. *no reference to Class 58's.Ian Edited July 9, 2017 by Crisis Rail

To be Loksound or Lego chipped weathered and renumbered to 40135 they are hard to source along with decent TOPS 26 and 27's Ian

Plus some other bits. Fuelling Shelter - Pump Shelter - PW Store and Tanks in progress - undecided what configuration as yet - most probably both but not at the same time..... PW building - raw. marc smith
I also wanted to add;I really like the thought of a flexible / adaptable micro - Do you intend to make the structures like the fuelling point removable, so that you can't see that it's removable?Or maybe you could swap structures to change the setting? Hmmm... nice idea...PMP's fab "Albion Yard" had background buildings that were removable - I always liked the concept of that....
