bike2steam
Does anyone have any pics of said signal box showing detail of the 'lead-off bed', if so I would like a copy - if such a thing exists, please.
RailWest
Are you talking just about the 'exit hole' in the front of the signal-box, or the actual layout of rodding and cranks etc? The only good close-up view of the SB which I have seen is the post-closure colour one, by which time all the rodding seems to have been removed although the (blocked-up) hole is clearly visible. bike2steam
The plate(s) in front of the exit hole with all the 'actual layout of rodding and cranks etc' are mounted, and visible, thanks. I've got to install all the point rodding for our clubs new layout - oh what fun Edited July 3, 2017 by bike2steam
RailWest
Rather you than me....especially when someone like ...err, me?.....comes along to point out the bit you missed :-):-). But...well worth the effort for the end result, so keep up the good work!

RMweb Premium Blandford1969 Posted July 4, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 4, 2017 The best I can do is this one and this one - I can't remember if I won this one, but will dig through my negs when I get chance. Not sure if they are of interest, but I spent some time doing some drawings. I've got most of the front elevation of the box drawn as well if its any good. However I then stopped on the end elevations waiting for a decent shot. Tim Chapman (Tingly Tim) has put a good view on Flickr, but family, railway and other commitments have prevented the time in doing the remaining elevations. Look forward to seeing the model. Best wishes Duncan

bike2steam
Well with the lack of info, I had to 'wing-it', along with the track laying gang having to compromise on the original track layout, half done !?
RailWest
Nice to see someone making an effort with proper rodding etc. Should be a bit easier for Spetisbury...:-)
