RMweb Premium PhilJ W Posted August 12, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 12, 2017 I have placed an order for a promotional model from a donkey rescue charity. The promotional model is an Oxford Land Rover in the livery of the charity. I was thinking it would look the part paired with the Classix horsebox and then it dawned on me that there was no model donkeys in 1/76 scale (or any other scale for that matter). If anyone knows of any model donkeys please advise.

RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted August 12, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 12, 2017 You really need one with a sound chip. My present donkey lodger, Martin, giving it full braying welly first thing in the morning, does wake us up a bit. Foghorn or what? He moves to pastures new shortly.
RMweb Premium PhilJ W Posted August 12, 2017 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted August 12, 2017 Thanks all for your help. I'm now thinking of mixing both Dart and Preiser models. The Dart ones look like older animals but the Preiser ones look like juveniles.
Nick Holliday
Langley do a set of donkeys, with riders for a beach scene. The animals seem a bit chunky, and I think the Dart one is a very good model.

It probably won't matter, but don't forget that Dart will be 1:76 and Prieser 1:87.

We went through this scale thing before, with passengers. Presumably the same applies with donkeys who come in all shapes sizes and ages. brian.
